KisTA is a time performance analysis tool borrowing from recent simulation-based frameworks, such as  SCoPE, but incorporating new concepts and mainly minding (although not limited to) predictable platforms. Specifically, KisTA makes special emphasis in supporting different types of well-known scheduling algorithms and the effect of predictable platform resources.

Moreover, KisTA aims to support application models which hook smoothly with well known formalisms. Specifically, KisTA supports dataflow application graphs which can be simply derived from the ForSyDe models. Close future research aims a direct connection, so, for instance, all the information about the concurrent functional model expressed in the ForSyDe model can be automatically extracted for the input required by KisTA.
